SMSF Accountant-in-training

Joe has a unique and varied career spanning the Australian Defence Force, the public sector, various private sectors, academia, small business management and self-employment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics & International Relations, a First Class Honours Degree and was midway through a PhD in Supply Chain Resilience at the UNSW before realizing that his passions for coaching clients required a different approach.

Joe  is passionate about life-long learning and mentoring and lectured for several years in business and economics at the University of Canberra, receiving a Lecturer of the Year award and further qualifications in Risk and Business Continuity and Vocational Training & Assessment.

After working for several years with our affiliates doing individual and company tax, payroll, and self-managed super fund setups, Joes is now an Accountant-in-training focused on Self-Managed Super Fund compliance.

He is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis and the Risk Management Institute of Australasia. Joe has chosen to pursue his SMSF accreditations and aspires to combine his knowledge and experience to be a valued member of the team in supporting our wonderful clients.

He is a proud supporter of the veteran community and enjoys reading military history, target shooting, landscape photography, rock climbing, 4wding, camping and fishing, despite being a poor angler!
